自2019年12月3日起，在加拿大境内递签以及境内申请移民也需要录指纹了。
Starting December 3, 2019, you need to give your fingerprints and photo (biometrics) if you’re applying within Canada as a
-
foreign worker (including extending your work permit)
-
international student (including extending your study permit)
-
visa-required visitor (including extending your stay)
-
permanent resident
You’ll be able to give your biometrics at a designated Service Canada location. Make sure you follow all the steps to give your biometrics, including paying the biometrics fee, when you apply. Find out if you need to give biometrics.

您可在指定Service Canada地点录指纹，具体地址在下方。
费用：

个人申请者提供生物识别信息时需要付$85加元。
-
一个家庭同时申请时付最高金额$170加元。
-
三人或以上的表演艺术家及其支持人员作为团体一同申请工作签证者最高支付$255加元。
什么人不需要录指纹：
1、如果在之前办理各类签证或移民项目时采集过指纹，且仍在有效期内（10年）的，则不必再重复进行。
2、符合条件的申请人可以豁免录指纹
-
加拿大公民、国籍申请者（包括护照申请者）和现有永久居民；
-
持有效电子旅行证（Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)）来加拿大旅游的免签证国家的公民；
-
14岁以下的儿童；
-
79 岁以上的申请者（难民申请者无此项年龄豁免）；
-
国家元首及政府首脑；
-
来自其他国家及联合国，且因公务前往加拿大的内阁成员和经认可的外交官；
-
美国签证持有者经加拿大转机；
-
已经提供了生物识别信息的难民申请者或受保护者申请学签或工签；
-
已经为申请永久居民提供了指纹，该申请尚在审理过程中时申请短期访问签证。
采集指纹的步骤有哪些？
第一步：在提交录指纹申请前，先交费
个人申请者：$85加元；
家庭同时申请，最高总费用为$170加元；
3名以上表演艺术家及其工作人员同时申请工作许可，最高总费用为$255加元；
第二步：交费后，你会收到确认信，告知你采集地点等注意事项
当你去录指纹时，你需要带上这封信还有你的有效护照。

第三步：本人亲自前往指定地点录指纹并拍照
注意：在录指纹时，手指上不要有装饰，不要有未愈合的伤口。
拍照时，不要穿浅色的衣服或佩戴浅色头饰，记得穿鲜艳的衣服。拍照时，整张脸必须清晰可见。
如果在约定时间未采集到清晰有效的指纹，可能要求你在晚些时候再次进行指纹采集。
加拿大境外是否可以录指纹？
在加拿大境外办理签证和移民，可以到以下地点录指纹。
1）美国各地的135个申请支持中心（ASC），需要先预约时间；
2）加拿大设在世界各国的签证申请中心（VAC）；
您可以在选定的签证申请中心（VAC）预约一个时间。
VAC由私营公司管理，经授权向加拿大移民部（IRCC）申请人提供特定服务。
在中国有12个城市设立有签证申请中心（CVAC）。
北京、上海、广州、南京、重庆、济南、沈阳、武汉、杭州、昆明、成都、香港。
不在这几个城市的申请人需要到就近的签证中心办理。
自2018年11月3日起，所有在中国加拿大签证申请中心（CVAC）进行的生物识别信息采集都必须提前预约。
